Murphy’s and the (Democrat) legislature to weaken NJ’s elections watchdog.  Many commentators see this as political payback against ELEC’s chief, Jeff Brindle, who has sought to rein in dark-money Super PACs.  Murphy and his deep-pocketed special interest pals like the NJEA love dark-money Super PACs.
