Thanks to NJEdReport for posting Sunlight’s recent research on the Education Truth Project, a new dark money Super PAC that very much looks like it’s funded by the NJEA.  The ETP augments a broader NJEA campaign to enlist teachers to fight the wave of parents running for school board this fall.  Such a campaign puts teachers in a very difficult position with parents in their local communities, but teachers have no say in the matter.  Their highest-in-the-nation dues simply go where the NJEA leadership decides.
